Do I need to book a visit with Santa?
Yes, all visits with Santa must be booked in advance. We recommend booking as early as you can to secure a date and time that suits you best and to avoid disappointment.
How much does a visit cost, and what’s included?
A visit with Santa costs €26.50 per child, including the booking fee. Every little one, babies included, needs their own booking. Accompanying adults go free, so when booking, please select the number of children only. Each child receives a small gift. There is an extra charge for a professional photograph.
Is a photograph included?
Our professional photographer will be there on the day to capture your little one’s visit with Mr. Claus. Photographs can be purchased on the day for an extra charge.
What is your cancellation policy?

Can we stay for food or drinks afterwards?
We do not take reservations for food service, we operate on a walk-in basis only. We do our best to accommodate everyone, but during busy periods please expect a 30–40 minute wait to be seated for food. Our food menu is available weekdays from 12–6pm and at weekends from 11 am. Thursday–Sunday evenings 6pm to 9pm, we serve wood-fired pizzas from the hatch in the Courtyard. Our Café and bar areas typically have immediate seating where you can enjoy our Café menu or full drinks selection.
Where is J.M. Reidy’s and where can I park?
You’ll find us on Main Street in the heart of Killarney town (Eircode V93 CC82), within easy walking distance of the nearby public car parks. The closest is Glebe Car Park, just off Plunkett Street. Beech Road Car Park and the Town Car Park are also close by.
Is there live music every night at J.M. Reidy's?
Yes. During busier periods, we host live music seven nights a week from around 6pm in our café bar and courtyard, continuing on weekends the rest of the year, with local musicians playing everything from traditional Irish session tunes to contemporary covers.

How can I catch an impromptu session?
They pop up in the Sweetshop Pub and are very much impromptu, so there’s no telling what you’ll find, a quiet pint on the stool one moment, a lively singalong the next.

Yes, all our menus are available to view on our website, from our brunch, lunch and bites, to our café menu, plus our full drinks and cocktail list. Whether you’re planning a visit or booking a private function, you’ll find everything you need right here.

Yes, we do cater for most dietary requirements and allergies, but please make sure to let our team know when you’re ordering. Our kitchen team are all allergen aware and we take great care in the kitchen, but as with any busy kitchen, we can’t 100% guarantee against traces of nuts or other allergens. If you have any concerns, please speak to your server before ordering so they can check the details with the chef and kitchen team.

Do you have kids' options?
Yes, we have a dedicated Kids Menu for children 12 and under, with a ‘little person’ baby bowl and favourites like grilled beef burger and fries, fish fingers, kids pasta and pork sausages, all made to order. We’ve also have a Sweetshop activity page to keep little ones entertained while they wait for their food.
Can I request custom menu items?
For private celebrations, we share a sample of our Functions Menu in the menus section, featuring a selection of canapé-style on sharing platters, with pricing from €27.50pp for six items. For corporate functions, our menus are bespoke and tailored to guests requirements.
