The Courtyard is where J.M. Reidy's comes alive, home to a main stage built for live entertainment, and steeped in decades of memorabilia tracing the pub's long history in Killarney. Overhead, fairy lights hang beneath a roof that opens to the sky when the weather allows, so it works whatever the forecast, and a private bar keeps things flowing without ever pulling you away from the atmosphere. As things pick up, evening musicians take the stage and the crowd spills into the open air to dance into the night.

Come function time, The Courtyard comes into its own, live entertainment from the main stage, open air overhead, and an atmosphere that builds as the evening goes on. Ideal for functions of 50 guests or more, it comes with a private bar and either our canapé-style sharing menu or a bespoke menu. Capacity: 50+
The Courtyard is best suited to functions of 50 guests or more, and comfortably hosts up to 150, with flexibility to combine with other spaces close by for something even bigger.
Menus to suit
A sample of our Private Functions Menu is available in our Menus page, made of canapé-style sharing platters. For groups of 80+ guests, a more bespoke menu can be arranged, we talk through the best option for you.
Location: JM Reidys
The Courtyard with private bar and main stage is J.M. Reidy's most open space, connecting easily to the Cobble Room, Terrace and Cocktail Snug. For functions, it stays private until about 9pm, before it opens back up to the public.
